Duties and Responsibilities of the Men's Ministry of the African Evangelical Baptist Church 

The Men's Ministry of the African Evangelical Baptist Church (AEBC) is dedicated to nurturing the spiritual, emotional, and social well-being of men within the church and the community. This ministry plays a crucial role in fostering strong Christian values, leadership, and service among men.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Spiritual Leadership and Growth

The Men's Ministry is tasked with guiding men in their spiritual journey, helping them develop a deeper relationship with God through various activities and programs: 

  • Topical Lesson and Prayer Meetings: Organizing regular topical teaching sessions and prayer meetings to encourage men to study the Word of God and grow in their faith. 

  • Discipleship Programs: Providing mentoring and discipleship programs to support men in their spiritual growth and accountability. 

  • Retreats and Conferences: Planning and hosting annual retreats that offer opportunities for worship, teaching, and fellowship. 

Community Outreach and Service 

Service to the community is a vital aspect of the AEBC Men's Ministry's mission: 

  • Volunteer Work: Encouraging men to participate in volunteer activities that benefit the church and the wider community. 

  • Charitable Initiatives: Leading charitable initiatives such as food drives, clothing donations, and support for local shelters. 

  • Evangelism: Equipping and mobilizing men to share their faith and engage in evangelistic efforts within the community.
